Are the football players playing? Maybe to boost attendance they should let someone from the other teams play? Hockey? Baseball? The Band?

According to Huger's post game comments on Saturday the football players will no longer be participating on the team. He thanked them for their wonderful assistance but said he could not risk them getting injured. He also explain why he suspended the 4 players at once rather than two at one time and two at a different time. I'm curious to see how much playing time they get tonight. Denny could sit the bench as far as I'm concerned.

It should be interesting to see how we play against an evenly matched team at home after last game. I'm curious who will be starting and what the rotation will look like. Ish and Lillard have been suspended twice now and have benched for their lack of effort which Huger keeps preaching. Ish is not being a not senior leader and not helpful in late game situations. Clearly Huger was trying to make a statement last game so lets see how he and the team responds tonight.

I'm interested as well. I hope they are forced to earn their playing time. It's not like any of them were playing so well that they're a major loss anyhow.

For the first time in forever Uju is dressed and participating in shoot around. Wonder if he'll play

BG up at the half 42-27. Yes we are up by 15 but that was still a brutal first half. Ali played terrible. Neither Wiggins nor Worrell scored a single point against this terrible Miami team.

Wes Alcegaire led BG with 20 points. That was about the only bright spot in the first half. 11 turnovers. Too many fouls. Sloppy play by Ali.

Ali was not good. Denny wasn't good either. Both bugs with 2 fouls and zero points.

I thought alcegaire, Frye, Caldwell, and Malik all played well. Miami is really bad and as a team (mostly alcegaire) we shot great from 3.

It was striking how when we had the four suspension design guys out there we went right back to zero ball/player movement on offense.

It's so damned small we cannot guard anybody but the team looks noticeably more athletic with Malik, Frye, and Caldwell on the court together...

And breaking news!!!! WMU who also only had 2 wins, 5 D1 wins overall, beat Ohio, a team BG lost too by 24.

So the loser of this game between BG and Miami will claim last place

Really makes me wonder why he's played so little. He looks like a contributor.

Looks like Toledo may lose to Ball State, a team we beat twice.
