How quickly the season has gone. Only 2 weeks remain in the regular season.

With 2 weeks remain BG holds down the #4 seed. BG is off next week and Ferris and Lake Superior are each 6 and 7 pts behind 4th place. It's very possible both Ferris and LSSU could sweep it's opponents next week setting up 3 teams within 1 pt for 4th and final home seed going into the final week of the season. BG plays UAH on the final week and Ferris plays LSSU so one of them teams would eliminate themselves for home ice and 4th seed. BG wins out and should be the 4th seed.

Correct me if I am wrong, but if BG and Ferris both win out, we tie for 4th. We win the tiebreaker because we would have 1 more conference win than them, correct?

If BG and Ferris each win out they would each end with 44 pts however BG would have 1 extra win.
BG would have 14 wins. Ferris 13 wins.

Since BG has played Ferris 4 times, if teams are tied in points whoever has more conference wins gets the higher seed. In a dumb rule that I don't understand but it doesn't apply here, but, if teams are tied AND didn't play each other 4 times then the team will the least amount of conference losses is the higher seed.

It's simple!!! A BG sweep of UAH secures the 4th seed.

With Ferris State win tonight Ferris now just 3 points behind BG for #4 seed. A win tomorrow and BG and Ferris tied going into the final weekend however BG would own the tie breaker if they each win out.

Also, with a win by Minnesota State tonight, BG can no longer obtain anything higher than a 4th seed. BG will finish anywhere between #4-#6
