I believe Ferris and BG are the only ones who know their opponent next weekend, just not the location yet.

Well, Anchorage does as well. They also know their location, the couch.

The couch for UAH as well if they don't come back and win tonight. UAH started off well this year then really took a nose dive.

End of 2, still 2-0. Shots are 27-22, BG.

Alabama is 0 for 8 on the powerplay. BG is 0 for 2.

Biggest challenge for the third period will be not losing anybody for next week, due to injury or suspension. Alabama is showing very poor sportsmanship right now.

Actually Minnesota State is already locked into 3rd seed. Alaska cannot be caught or move up to #5 so Mankato vs Alaska is set.

Refs are doing everything they can to give UAH a chance. Some ticky-tack calls against BG, but UAH seemingly can do whatever they want??

They did everything but throw the puck in the net for them.

Our boys will have to play better next weekend to beat Ferris. There was sloppy play, they gave up way too many shots, and Huntsville isn't that good. Nell was outstanding. Sweep Ferris!

BG has participated in six straight shutouts.

Crazy to get shut out 3 games in a row, then to shut out our opponents for the following 3 games. Chris Nell set records for 3 shut outs in a row and now his 11th career shutout.

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

It's hard NOT to give up that many shots when the refs were giving UAH that many PPs. Their player loses an edge and we take a penalty. Worst called game I've seen in a long time.

A lot of shots doesn't always mean they were quality shots too. It seemed like they were just throwing everything on net, and he only had to make hard saves on the PK.
Bring back the glory!

He also now has the record for most shutouts in a single season. He has 4 this season.
