Utterly amazing, that 2012 defense had three future NFL players. It was the first time ever as a BG fan that I did not dread being on defense - I actually looked forward to it.

It was quite fun to watch. Shows how good of a coach Mike Elko is to be able to coach and scheme those guys into extremely successful players.

Very impressive for both Jude and Gabe. I really think it is a testament to Gabe's work ethic and smarts as he was noticeably less explosive laterally after his knee surgery. And Chris Jones was a beast from day one at BG so not to take anything away from him but I really admire Jude & Gabe's development and resolve.

And that 2012-13 team had so much depth on defense...you'd lose a guy like Boo Boo for a week or two and a Ron Ford would step right in and make a dozen tackles a game. So much fun to watch. I think we're getting athletes at that level on defense again...looking forward to the fall.
