Bemidji won 3-1 today. BG will travel to Bemidji. There is also no chance of another game in BG this season as BG is the lowest remaining seed (yes, the chance was small but some of us were still holding out hope).

At this point it really doesn't matter. We are playing Bemidji.

Tech is on a roll. Purple Cows have their hands full. I'll take Bemidji. Doesn't mean we'll win but our odds are better. One of the stats guys on USCHO did an analysis:

That guy is from Huntsville, using math probablities. It's the playoffs, math doesn't really matter at this point.

Maybe so, but he is a rocket scientist. Regardless, I'd rather go to Bemidji than Houghton.

I agree. I think needing to win TWO games I would rather take my chances with Bemidji. Don't think we can beat Mankato or Tech twice in the same series but we can beat them once. I like playing Bemidji this weekend.
