This is what sucks about the WCHA.

The conference is so spread out we all have to celebrate on this forum rather then be in a conference thats closer geographically and then giving each other 5 fives in the same seating section at the game :(

Just think, the last time we were in the championship we wouldn't be doing this!

If it ended tonight, we'd likely play Western as they've moved into the top 4 in the pairwise ahead of Minnesota. We blew a 3-goal lead at home against them early in the season then got our doors blown off in Kzoo.

What really sucks is that the one year a frozen five in Grand Rapids would allow BG fans to attend the final!
But most importantly - go BG!!!

It wouldn't have been in Grand Rapids this year.

ONE team from the WCHA will get into the Tournament. They will most likely be the 15 seed, and placed in the regional with the 2 seed, wherever that may be. We can discuss all that AFTER BG wins the WCHA Championship next Saturday. Until then, there really isn't much use in discussing the NCAA tournament. One game at a time.

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Man I can't want to for next Saturday night..............it's been a long time since we've been here and I for one and friggin' jacked up for this weeks game. I'm getting to old to get this excited about falcon hockey.

Not to get ahead of ourselves (we still have work to do), but at this point the Buckeyes would be going to Cincy and the WCHA auto-qualifier will likely be heading to the Manchester regional.
