Living in my 10' x 15' room in Dunbar Hall, Harshman Quad.
I don't think Dunbar is even open any longer.

It was a short walk to the Ice Arena, but a really, really long walk(stumble) from Howards or Brathaus....LOL

At this time of year in 1988, I was 3 years old and didn't even know hockey was a thing. I was more interested in Sesame Street, Mr. Rogers Neighborhood, and playing with my toys. I was also staring accusingly at my parents for bringing my younger brother into the world a mere 9 months before that.

I was not even 2. We lived in another state and Ohio was where my grandparents lived in their cold wind-swept farm. Naturally I thought all of Ohio was a cold windy farm. Turns out I was right.
