I see 3 point guards for next year: Caldwell, Frye, and the McCullen kid from eastern PA.

Re: 2017-2018 Recruiting.
Frye isn't undersized so much as underweight.
It helps to look at this with situations within the game instead of instead of a 40 minute game. Teams will press us...teams will foul us late. Having the flexibility to roll three really good ball handlers out there with a couple of skilled forwards is a good thing. when ee need to go big...we will be able to.
I know I'm in the minority...but I really like where Huger is taking this thing

Flip, I don't think you are in the minority at all. Most people who are watching ang following closely, know the direction of the program is VERY positive.

I continue to be amazed at how many kids from Louisville go under recruited. The MAC should camp out here.
That said, as far as I know from ppl I trust, the Lauf kid is a "Findlay maybe" type of kid. Puts up big numbers but not viewed as a D1 type of kid. This from guys who played college ball and a few AAU coaches.

I am on board. I love this roster. We just need one guy to become a star and I think 4-5 of them could be easilyFlipper wrote:Frye isn't undersized so much as underweight.

I realize the Lynn family provided a nice donation to the school, but to give up the name College of Boca Raton..... It is a nice campus.

Manny Patterson to Green Bay.
Wonder who we are still recruiting. Probably have one open scholarship. While I doubt it goes to a Freshman when we will have 6 already (including Turner) who really knows.

Here's a take on that potential final scholarship. Stacey was court side at almost every state tournament game in Columbus and Trotwood Madison's Torrey Patton impressed everyone down there, he came in with a single offer from West Virginia State, then scored 29 in the D1 semi finals, leaving everyone scratching their heads on his lack of offers. He has since picked up an offer from Dambrot at Akron that has followed him to Duquesne. This guy is a 6'4" wing with a big frame that can shoot and score off the drive. Unless they have a plan for a juco or 5th year, Patton could be a diamond in the rough type guy.
