Is this the year we beat Toledo?

It's been since 2009 since we beat Toledo. That game, we won 38-24 at the Doyt. Since then, they have rattled off 7 straight against us. However, last year, in one of our worst seasons in a half decade, we nearly got them, as it took them until the 59th minute to take the lead. We almost beat them at our place when we were having a down year...so who else thinks that this is the year that we finally break the streak? It's gonna be a packed house at the Doyt, even though it's going to be a Wednesday night in November. I think it's going to be a crazy atmosphere and I think we finally get it done.

The series is currently 39-38-4 (BG leads), so I think this year is important. I don't want to lose that lead in the series.

Hopefully this year but not sure to many what ifs carry over from last year. Reminiscing, 2001 vs them, I had to work so listened to the game. 56-21 BG. Then heard the announcers describe the tearing down of the goal posts and carrying them out of the stadium. What a sight following a kicking game. Would love that domination this year.

Not sure if we'll bet them...pretty sure our next MAC title will come more quickly than theirs. For all their bluster, pomp and BS...they always choke in the end.

Oooops...I said "bet" instead of "beat"...why do I always think of betting when the topic of Toledo football comes up?
