It would not surprise me if any member of this class (and Turner) became a star.

Incredible video. Gadsden may be the most athletic big man at BG since Nate. At this point, his footwork, body control, and touch make him plug-and-play.

This upcoming team may be the deepest and most athletic we've ever had. Our roster has all of the bases covered - shooting, ball control, speed, post defense, post offense, overall athleticism. We could rotate 12 or 13 right out of the gate. Any player on our roster will have a reason to be on the court in a competitive game.

The unknown is chemistry. I hope that personalities blend and the guys buy in.

I am completely on board with this but I feel like I always am so I don't know how much that really means.

We are essentially adding 7 new faces to a team that was already somewhat exciting. We will return 3 starters which is huge.
1 Caldwell
2 Frye
3 Lillard
4
5 Wiggins

Any one of Koch-Uju-Gadsdon could start around that 4-5 spot because I think Wiggins can slide down to the 4.

I am very excited about this season but as you said it's all about chemistry and gelling. When you add in 7 new guys minutes move around and guys can get frustrated. I am pretty confidant this coaching staff will have no problem with this.

I still hope they fill that final spot somehow. Even if it's just with a Super Senior who will get straight A's and help the locker room.

I see the argument for not taking a long term guy but I think that we still have time to add a Sr transfer that can make a difference.

2017-2018 1 scholarship available
1 Caldwell, So-Cummings, Fr
2 Frye, So,-Turner, Fr(R)-Plowden, Fr
3 Lillard, Jr-Fox, Sr-Kulackovskis Fr
4 Uju, Jr(R)-Koch, Fr
5 Wiggins, Jr-Gadson, Fr

So options for xfer Seniors
1) Jaylen Benton-6-3 180 SE Missouri State-Westerville Ohio

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UfXmr6u9wEU&t=20s" target="_blank
* Been to 3 colleges already. Might not be great for the locker room but is an Ohio Kid.

2) Chuck Ester-6-7 218 Chattanooga-Biloxi Ms

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mWQq7Rkf6s0" target="_blank

*Injured knee last year after starting at PF the year before. PF and Bigs are our weakest spot. Averaged 7.7 and 4.9 as a Jr.

3) Rashad Muhammad 6-6 16- Miami-Vegas

*Averaged double figures for San Jose State twice in a row. Xferred to Miami, sat out a year and then kicked off the team. Shabazz Muhammads brother

4) Jalyn Pennie 6-7 180, NM State, Toronto

* For some reason this guy just feels like the right fit. Like the video, like the short interview, like the athleticism and size. He made his own video as a Grad Xfer so he is hungry. Perfect end of the bench flyer. To me the interview almost matters more than anything because he might not play much.

5) J-Mychal Reese 6-2 180 N Texas Bryan Texas

http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basket ... chal-reese" target="_blank

* Dismissed from AnM then transferred to N Texas where he put up numbers. Former top 100 recruit. Granted medical harship to play 5th year. Dads a HS coach.

If Reese doesn't have a home he makes tons of sense. You can never have too many Guards. and our depth at the 2 are 2 long guys that can play the 3. A former top 100 recruit playing against Caldwell and Frye and Cummings every day makes them better. We can't expect all 5 rookies to make immediate impacts like Frye and Caldwell. It may take some information to find out why he was out at AnM but that was 3 years ago. He is going into his 6th year.

Reese is a very interesting case to me. I haven't heard much about him, and I couldn't find any news on him, so I would assume he is still a "free agent" looking for a home. Do we have any connection to him at all? Is there any reason to think we could actually land him?

We have a roster spot and playing time on a young team. That's about it.
