See no improvements on both sides of the ball today from last year. Defense is lucky Michigan State is terrible. At least 3 MAC offenses they will face will be better than Spartans.

Offense is a hot mess. No running game and Morgan looks nervous throwing the ball. When he does manage to throw a catchable ball, receivers are dropping them.

Long way back to being competitive....

Been frustrating because opportunities are there...Sparty had one bad year last year...and averaged 11 wins a year the 6 years before. They have a three headed monster in their backfield. They are not terrible. We're down 14-3.

But our O better get its ass in gear...

Falcons look better than last year, but not good. Sparty is beatable. Our receivers are open at times. But we just aren't clicking.

Then we give up that touchdown drive right before half (inexcusable).

Only 104 yards in offense. Only 4 completions. Only 4 1st downs. Not a good start.
