A little calmness ...

Three quick points ...
- FCS losses happen. VT lost one in 2010. They then went on to win the ACC. Nobody remembers the loss anymore. Everyone remembers CMU's run from 2006-09 but nobody remembers they had an FCS loss in 2007 as defending and eventual conference champions. Hell, we play NW next week. They had an FCS loss last year. These happen and they all blow over and are forgotten with time. Except App State over Michigan.
- Win a few games and we can all look back and laugh about that terrible start.
- Enjoy the nice weather while you can. Help out the folks in Texas and Florida if you can. Octoberfest is coming. The leaves are changing soon which means it will be perfect hiking season. Light up a campfire. Read a book. Enjoy your autumn. Don't get stressed over something out of your control.

Perspective, folks. Calm down and be nice to each other. I personally know most of the folks on this board and am better for it. With that I'm probably going to be a little quieter around here for a while.

Not to disagree with your points, because I understand your logic, but we've had the past 9 months to calm down and to try and remain calm. But after a crap season like last year, to come out and see more garage again like this, yeah, it's irritating and pretty damn frustrating.

I agree with MarkL on everything he said.

And, I agree with 33 that I should "see more garage" & spend next Saturday afternoon/evening cleaning out my garage instead of watching the game at Northwestern.

Actually, maybe I'll "see more garage" in the afternoon and go to the men's soccer game that night.
