I honestly didn't think this would be possible, but I've changed my mind. This is a bad team and it seems to be still in a state of decline.kdog27 wrote:Sticking with my 0-12 prediction

Re: Gameday: BG vs Akron
I would put any FCS team against us this season
Re: Gameday: BG vs Akron
We were within 4 in the 4th quarter with a chance to try and pull it out on our home field, and what do we do??? Fumble, then we throw a pick 6. This team $hit down its leg when faced with a chance at a win. It has no damn clue how to.
GO BG!!!
Re: Gameday: BG vs Akron
I would put Otsego, Eastwood or Genoa against us. Eastwood and Genoa rush for over 300 yards per game. Otsego has a Jr. QB that passed for 4 TDs and ran for 3 more and 400 yards of offense. And all teams play defense too!jakehovs23 wrote:I would put any FCS team against us this season

This team looks completely befuddled....
Let's pressure Jinks into quitting so we can hire Studrawa...

Should have hired Stud a looooong time ago!
Re: Gameday: BG vs Akron
Went to my first game in quite a while, lasted until halftime as we couldn't take any more. I want to see Jinks be successful, but I truly think he is in over his head. We continue to rack up foolish penalties (unsportsmanlike conduct when on the two yard line, fair catch interference when the the ball was still 30 feet in the air) which for me points to an undisciplined team. And that falls directly on the coach.
And I think we have some defensive players that spend more energy running on and off the field (Locke goes in and out after every play it seemed) then they actually spend during a play.

Not sure how much more I can take of this. Maybe if someone asked all BG alumni to contribute $10 to buyout Jinks something will happen, but I can't watch this product any longer. 0-12 is absolutely attainable.

Re: Gameday: BG vs Akron
Morgan should be #3 behind Doege and Loy. Loy can run a bit on the option and seems to have decent arm. Morgan overthrows his receivers almost as badly as Knapke did and he throws at least one "WTF was he looking at" INT per game
