Way to go Falcons. First home ice in 10 years. Playoffs are March 11th and 12th and the 13th if needed. Finals are at Joe Louis on March 17, 18, 19.

Let's go up to Munn and sweep guys. Then another big sweep next weekend.

UNO just lost to Fairbanks so we have sole possesion of 4th place and if it holds we would play LSSU. one more win and we would lock up 4th.

Ok, that was one of the worse officiated games I think I've ever seen...however, WHAT A GAME! Guys held tough until the end and I finally got to see the emotion come out from the players tonight.

My thoughts:

Siggy.....what else can be said? He won the game for us last night.
Start of second period....dictionary definition of "skating circles around". If this type of performance happens against a higher quality team (man it gives me great pleasure to put MSU into the inferior category

) we give up 2, possibly 3, possibly more. State came out pumped, our boys came out flat. Can't happen at the Joe.
Third period......defense, defense, defense. Six shots on goal. Outstanding performance and if this repeats itself in future games, can you say CCHA champions?

Best line of the night.......FFM. Falk, Foster and Matsumoto are awesome!! Would match them up against anyone in the league, maybe even the country.
Winning goal. "A thing of BEAUTY"!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just my thoughts.

Goal #2 was magical. The passing from Nesdill - Pilkington - Unger to score that goal was NHL quality. Except the the begining of the second period, the team really worked hard. Lets do it again in Lansing!

We might have only let up 6 shots in the 3rd but a few of them were break downs at center ice, and without Jordan we would have been going to OT. I didn't see the 1st or 2nd but in the 3rd our passes looked week, and that lead to scoring chances for them. But they held State off and got a very big win last night... now let's get another.
