BG vs Ohio Game thread

Since Freak will be in attendance I will not predict a score. I just hope BG can pull out the win so we don't need to collect money to send him away.

Lots of storms delaying games in the Midwest. Lightening only 100 miles north of BG. Hope it stays away.

Lots of interest during the game I see....... 2 Field Goals so far. We need TDs.

Week in and week out we have the same crappy ESPN3 announcers.

Did you know we played Buffalo last week? Doege is the quarterback today? Guyton didn't play last week due to an injury.

C'mon. All 3 are inaccurate. Surely we can find some competent announcers..

That hurt. Pugh catches it and we're up 20-7. Next thing we're down 14-13. 14 point swing in two plays. That really hurt.

Guyton!!! Go back to the bench. His head isn't in the game. 3 drops. Could been a 4th drop but that was on Morgan. But 3 drops, 2 were on 3rd down and then ran the wrong route leading to the pick 6.

Halftime Thoughts: The Good. The Bad. The Ugly.

The Good: Clair 122 yards

The Bad: 2 Turnovers and Costly Penalties.

The Ugly: Guyton 3 drops and Morgan only 10/24 66 yards, 1 INT

Guyton is a train wreck out there. Other than that, honestly, Bowling Green has played fairly well. Defense looks great aside from that last Ohio drive. Morgan has been very close to connecting deep on a couple of throws.

We have a shot to win this.

Morgan would have 4 touchdowns if he could complete a pass over 15 yards.

I think Jinks just won the dumb coaching move of the day!!! 1st and 10 at the BG 5 for Ohio. Ohio runs a QB draw and loses 1 yard to make it 2nd and 11 but wait, Personal Foul Clipping. He accepts the penalty and makes it 1st and 13 rather than 2nd and 11. What the hell Jinks and the staff doing!!!!

That's three times Morgan has thrown a deep one to Pugh on what appeared to be designed plays. Pugh has never been our deep threat. Maybe he had a breakout practice? It would be nice to have another deep receiver.
