Wow, just watched the Lady Falcons a while back on FSN..this Kate Achter is one amazing player! Is she from the Bowling Green area?

she's a graduate of oregon clay high where her dad roger acther was her coach. she was a three sport star in high school, and she'll also be golfing at bgsu.

Achter will have a real good shot at winning MAC frosh of the year....we could go back to back with Ali winning it last year. I believe that Achter's 27 pts tonight against the Herd was a career high...she came in averaging 9.6 a game so this will make her the 4th Falcons averaging over 10, Honneger, Mann and Horne are the others, in order.

Michelle and I made it up tonight and Kate was just fabulous. When she wasn't making field goals, she was getting to the line and hitting 13/14 from the foul line. If I had a vote for MAC Freshman Of The Year, it would go to Kate!

How scary must it be for the rest if the MAC that Kate is only a freshman so she will be back for 3 more years. Not to mention that Liz, Ali and Carin will be back for 2 more years also, boy what a force we will be for the next 2 or 3 seasons.
