I wonder what Jinx did on his Saturday off today...........

Post by CrazyFan »

You know he wasn't game planning, because that obviously doesn't do any good. I bet him and John Wagner went and saw a movie today. Wonder what they saw? Those two best friends!! And then they probably went to Frickers tonight for dinner. John's treat, of course. Courtesy of the BGSU Athletic Department. Keep writing those articles John!!

He spent it searching for his team’s identity. In other words, he’s been on his feet all day looking with no end in sight.

He watched a little Netflix and took a long nap....I think that's what he's been doing all year on Saturdays
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

Just not productive comments. I have thought about it and even with better coaching we are probably a 3 win team at best. We need better players and yes coaching can improve. If you think you can't imagine rove in what your doing you have lost it.

The team certainly isn't talented enough to compete for a MAC title, but finishing middle of the pack is more than reasonable.

I don't see us being less athletic than our MAC opponents. We are a little thin on both lines. Our QB play is extremely poor, but I think a majority of that is on the coaches. Create a game plan that Morgan can execute. We're talking about MAC defenses not P5 defenses.

Gameplanning has been an issue in about 75% the games under Jinks. Combining with that, we are fundamentally poor in our positioning, routes, blocking, tackling, etc. The results are not only losing, but being embarrassed most games.

A game plan he can execute (Morgan) is hand the ball off and hope. He is too inacurate to do anything else. You just cannot win with that. Our defense has improved in my opinion. They showed a lot aggression (hitting) in some games. They just have got worn down and the line play is still weak. I still stand by 3 wins. We are just not that good and need a lot of help. If Jinks continues to recruit well I see a bright spot on the horizon.

The issue I have is offensive identity. Either you run the air raid offense or you don't. I would rather us run it, find out who can play within it, Let the players who cannot leave, Recruit what you need to make it work. We have tried to "find" our identity and I think that came out of the last 3 games of last year. Probably would be better off today if we lost them and focused on what these coaches do best in a high octane offense.

Totally disagree. Better QB play, Better clock management we would have at least 4 wins now. This offensive is not a fast pace unit and we should had realized that after game 3. If we would had better clock management we have four wins easy. Our defense is just as good as the top MAC teams. Its the offense and clock management. That is coaching and accepting we don't have the high pace players on offense for his play calling. I looked at Coach Jink preseason interviews. He said the offense should be lights out!
Hopefully we can go into the Toledo game with a win.
