So Cool on so many levels! Senior Day, senior Kelly Kapferer sings the national anthem, comes in to replace Ali Mann when she is injured, scores the tying points, then sinks the extra point on the foul for the WIN!!

This game was great on so many levels. First of all, it looks like Ali is going to be ok. To see Kelly ice the game for BG her last time in AA....well you couldn't write a better script than that. I thought this team stayed so poised after having to watch Mann go down, and Toledo kept hitting shots but BG didn't waiver. It's gotta be tough watching your best player go down and still have to play out a close game. Kelly played out the game for Ali and got some key rebouds, and the Falcons didn't seem to miss a beat. What a victory!! It would have truely been unbearble to lose senior day to the sprockets. Whether it is this year or not, this team is truly on the verge of something special. For the Senior's sake, I hope this year is our year. Everyone get out to the GUND over break !!!! We can win this thing !

....Oh yeah, I was definitely there! And on the court after the game too....these women have definitely been long overdue for a crowd that big, and a victory that deserves students rushing the floor.
