Damn, I was thinking the game was Friday. Yeah no EMU preview this week, sorry. Shows my satisfaction level with the state of the program.
Quick EMU notes:
4-7, 2-5. They've beaten terrible Ball State and Miami. Of the 7 losses, 6 are by one possession, which has got to be frustrating. Hopefully for their sake they can learn and close out games next year.
Their defense by the scores looks pretty good and the team seems to prefer slow paced, low scoring affairs. That's not how we play so it will be interesting to see who dictates tempo.
QB Brogan Roback is a senior and has a decent season but too many picks often at crucial times. I'm not sure when our last interception was without looking it up so we've got a chance here.
EMU has rushed for almost 1300 on the season and given up almost 2000. I won't tell you our rush defense stats because they're ugly. Hopefully we can stop the run and force them to pass.
I'm heading to work in a minute so no time to do real research. Sorry ... haven't done real previews recently. Lack of time.

Mark,

I don't blame you for overlooking this game. Heck, this is a mid week Maction game and we can't even get it on ESPN. Online ESPN3 only. That tells you what ESPN thinks about this game.

I only wish the season was over. It's sad, but it's the truth. I'm kind of already moved on to seeing what happens in the offseason. Hopefully we make some adjustments and get this team a lot better, and fast. I don't want to lose the fanbase completely.

BG Defense gets a huge INT and then Cleveland breaks a 72 yard run for a TD

If you include band, cheerleaders, all players, officials, and other staff, that number might be accurate. MACtion sucks

There are a total of SIX, yes SIX fans in the sections from the 30 yard line to the end zone and NO fans from the other 25 yard line to the end zone. That's 6 people in the seats over 55 yards.

Unnecessary penalty leads to a fumble and based on trends likely a TD soon. No good ...

And we need to take care of the ball. Can't win games if you're giving it away.

Suder is 18/20. When was the last time we felt this good about hitting FGs? Great stuff here and he should be 1st team.
