2 - 2

Now we play circus hockey for a bit for giggles given no extra point awarded since its non-league.

Speiza scores in 2nd OT, statically doesn't count.

loss and tie ain't going to help the Pairwaise ranking against a sub-500 team. Can we actually focus and play back to back nights. Non-league series, yes, but this weekend gets in a position not to have to win the league tournament to get into the NCAA tournament.

Possibly, that was the first time I've ever left a game early. If I were a coach I'd want to save my players instead of spend them on five minutes of meaninglessness.

The extra 3 v 3 is glorified practice for fans to watch when it's non-league. As a coach it would be hard to argue for this. Injury during meaningless time would be a concern.

WCHA or NCAA might want to increase the length of OT to 10 minutes might reduce the odd and creative ways conferences have to come up with when games end in a tie after OT and odd number of points are given (3 points). If its two then it can end there each team gets a point.

At no point, outside of a penalty shot, does the shoot out come into play during post season.
