It'll be alright. We have Doege and Loy, and Veasley coming in. I'm sure he saw the writing on the wall that he would likely never play, so he is getting out while he can. I don't blame him.

A mess? He never saw the field and was passed on the depth chart by a walk on. Good luck to him...I hope he finds a place where he can be happy.

Yeah I don't get the backlash. Cunningham never played and I guess if football means that much to him then good luck, but this is largely immaterial.

If you recall I questioned his status a month or so ago, after seeing him w / helmet on sideline, then not getting in for even a single snap in the game that Loy was injured, yet sent back in late in a lost game.
So guess his leaving won't have much impact except in the overall depth at the QB position.

Suggest we take serious look at current Mentor HS QB, who's started there for last 3 yrs., now leading team to state championship game.

Tadas Tatarunas is a hell of a name....maybe even better than Kenderson Obas. He looks a lot like Grant Loy on his video...Loy may have a bit better arm. OSU offered him a PWO and that's it from the FBS. He may be worth taking a shot at...although it's rare to sign and keep two QB's in the same class.

Maybe if the QB thing doesn't work out, he could be a TE

I agree it's a mess with results and performance. It's hardly surprising to see players recruited by a previous coach jump ship if they know there isn't a place for them. This has become somewhat trendy the past 3-4 years and a big reason why some programs are pushing for the NCAA to drop the one year sit out period for transfers.

Not sure on this, but wasn't Cunningham recruited by Jinks?

Sort of. Cunningham arrived in Jinks's first class in the transition from Dino Babers. (I'm sure that was a mad scramble.)

BG isn't alone in losing two QBs as Speight and Malzone are transferring from Michigan.
