BG v Norfolk State: Welcome Back Antwon Lillard!

Post by Globetrotter »

Bg is back vs Norfolk St tomorrow.

Watch it here!
http://nsuspartans.com/watch/?Live=676&type=Live" target="_blank

Twon is back. Remember him? Do people call him Twon? I think they should!

Here are his stats: http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basket ... on-lillard" target="_blank
Here is his play: Courtesy of Rasheed Worrell--> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRmx1sxbmcI" target="_blank
Do yourself a favor and watch the video above all the way through and tell me you are not excited about adding him. Wow. He has best player on the team ability.
Nothing like adding a 20 game starter to a 6-2 team for some depth. Lets hope he assimilates nicely.

So the Norfolk State Spartans. They are 0-7. BG is 1-0 Against Spartans this year after beating UC Upsate.
They just lost to Kent last game 79-70 on Housing and Residence Life Night.

Vs BG on Feed the City/Youth Night (Hopefully they are not feeding youth to the city. If you go be vigilant in case it's a Purge: Election Year scenario)

They have 76 assists to 130 turnovers on the year.

STARTERS
34 Steven Whitley 6'3 210 SO 7 starts 12ppg 6r 3.3a

Interesting breakdown!

Of note, we're 2-0 against Spartans after downing San Jose State this past Wednesday night.

I'm hoping for a win, and it should be around a 5-10 point win. The site below projects game results based on advanced analytics and it's pretty fun to compare us to other teams around the country.

After the 14-15 MAC Tourney, I was convinced Twon Lillard was a future MAC Player of the Year. He probably isn't, but he is that level of talent, I'm excited to have him back. It should be like having two of the type of player that Turner has become.

BG jumps out to 23-3 on 14 quick points by Frye. NSU trying to get back into it. Fwiw, Kent State beat NSU by 9 earlier in the week.

I didn't want to say anything but I don't think that game against Lake Erie counted. Yea it shows BG got the win but in the RPI I don't think that game is recognized. I didn't think he would play tonight but let's see what develops in the 2nd half.

Why can't this team come out focused in the 2nd half. It's a common occurrence. A 15 pt lead, actually a once 23 pt lead gone. Tie game!!!!

I thought about giving them the $5 but decided against it to watch the last football state championship games. Just keeping up on the Gamecast. Matt has 5 threes.
