Don't bother with facts, guest44 won't understand them anyway.

It seems like this is a personal vendetta or something. Maybe Jinks kicked his cat when they were younger.....

Paul Haynes does have ties to BG, he served as a GA in the early Blackney years. Great Guy, Great recruiter

I can't imagine him being a MAC Coordinator, former OSU and Arkansas DC, I would bet more on him being a P5 position coach. It pays much better than the DC at BG.

Wont hurt to ask, and if he wants to be a head coach again it makes sense.

He probably has opportunities at Rutgers, OSU and Cincinnati among others.

Not sure where to put this. Bumped into it on twitter

Nebraska: Nebraska’s assistant salaries have been released, as tweeted by Husker Illustrated’s Sean Callahan — Erik Chinander, $800,000; Greg Austin, Mike Dawson and Jovan Dewitt, $475,000; Mario Verduzco, $350,000; and Travis Fisher and Ryan Held, $300,000.

I dunno about that- John Lovett came to be D.C. at BG immediately after serving in the same role at Clemson and Auburn. Coaches wanna coach and sometimes it's about available positions and comfortable situations.

John Lovett Snapshot:
He was the defensive coordinator for Maine in 1994, Auburn from 1999−2001, Clemson from 2002−2004, Bowling Green from 2005−2006, and Miami from 2009−2010.

Tim Beckman
I assume that was said tongue in cheek.

After what that turd did in the post game presser about having the BG wallpaper covered up, if they tried to bring him in here I'd personally lead a Tennessee/Schiano type revolt against the hire. Beckman = school on Christmas - no class.
Yes, mostly tounge in cheek, but I was curious what the reaction might be.

Beckman shot himself in the foot (and the head) with some of his remarks he made when still at Toledo, before he started abusing players!

Tennessee fans would look mild, compared to BG fans if they ever tried to hire him here again!!!

i think Paul Haynes would be a good start, but just don't see him taking a MAC DC job with a team in the same division as Kent. Still worth the phone call.

Don Treadwell was fired by Miami then took over as OC at Kent. Same division. So it is precedented.
