BG up 57-53. Caldwell has settled things down and Turner has been scoring a bunch.

Kept thinking Plowden should be playing over Uju. Then he got in and abruptly took a terrible 3 and gave up a terrible 3.

Wiggins literally just can't hold on to the ball. I don't get how he is so big and so weak.

Fox comes in in overtime and hits 2 free throws to put us up.
Caldwell hits two more.
The bad guys score 2 on Frye super easy to the max
Caldwell hits 2 to ice it.
WINNERS!

Free throws won us this game. We made 28 free throws. Green Bay only made 10

Caldwell 21
Turners 21-10
Wiggins 13-16

If Frye is hitting that adds to this.

Turner played well.
Wiggins filled up the stat sheet. I just want him to get angry and stronger. Imagine how good he could be?
Offense needs to get better shots. Young guards need to take better shots.
Lillard is essentially the 6th man or may even start at PF against small teams.
Need someone to be aggressive in the post

Game balls go to Caldwell and Turner.

I think that this team can win the MAC. And I think they can be dominant in the MAC next year and the year after.
It will take 2 things this year.
1. DeMajeo has to want to be the best big in the MAC. He just seems to let everything come to him. He is great if the play is easy. If he is bumped in anyway it's a mess.
2. The guards need to have much better ball movement. We seem to just go one on one all the time. The lineup of Frye-Caldwell-Turner-Wiggins and a 4th guy is a solid lineup.

Some other things.
1. Cummings needs to see more time. I am not sure how but he needs to play more. He should be the top backup at both guard spots and getting 20 mins a game. He has a big future
2. Have to find another big. I liked Koch alot in the first game but he fell off. Might have been the injury. Gadsen must be super raw. Uju really seemed unathletic tonight but did have some blocks.

Some more notes.

It's likely that if the roster stays the same 4 players will reach 1000 points next year and that doesn't include our best player who could hit it.

Wiggins 620
Lillard 546
Frye 466
Caldwell 367
Turner 206

Wiggins should get into the top 10 all time in rebounding this year

I believe this team has a future. This year, if they go .500 in MAC play and make it to the first game in Cleveland I’ll be over the moon.

Glad they could get a W last night. Road games in college basketball are always so tough to win, so I'm happy they came away with that one.

On to the next one. Beat Lourdes in 6 days, then go win some games in the MAC.

Don't understand you at times. Bad mouthing Wiggins as too weak, lack of hustle etc., then you list these numbers. Had 16 pts-13 boards , has improved his FT shooting RADICALLY over past 2 yrs.
I admit I haven't seen this team live yet, have seen a little on my I pad. Seems like coach has got them headed in right direction, including Wiggins.
Education our Challenge, Excellence our goal. (look it up)
