Almanson busted a shot with 5 seconds remaining 57-56. BG wins!

Edit: Can't blame them, but the fans once again rushed the court. Here's hoping Fitch ran to the tunnel. Oh yeah and that Coach Dakich's son ran to his dad

the players stayed out of the way. andrew ran to coach, gave his dad a hug and got a kiss on the head. then coach got in the middle of the students and was jumping up and down with them.
what a great finish. i just wish the "sideline squad" would've ridden coles like the real sideline squad used to.
can't complain. we won, and we beat miami.

I did notice that the team celebrated for a bit and then was rushed off of the court for safety. The fans stuck around and continued the celebration for a bit.

I think the rushing into the locker room was tactful and smart.

Germain wisely snuck into the locker room shortly before Miami inbounded the ball for the last 7/10 of a second. :D

Smart move getting off the floor...nice to see Ali Mann walking without crutches (albeit a little slowly) at the game today.

I didn't notice if any fans tried to stomp her after the game though.

Those were the days...*sigh*. Charlie Coles is a great coach and so much fun to play against. Definitely my favorite non-BG hoops coach.

By the way, it seems like Charlie can't win at AA the same as Dakich has trouble at Kent. Anyone know how we've done in the last few home games against Miami?

Miami has not won in AA now in 8 years. Last win was Wallys freshman or sophmore year. I heard this on the radio this morning. Also, this was Miami 1st loss to a Western conference division team in YES, 2 years in regular season.

Better check your source for that second one... I don't know about this year's schedule, but last year they lost to WMU and NIU on the road and BSU in Oxford.
