At the under-4, we're up 31-17. We have hit 5 three pointers, and our passing has been really nice tonight. Gotta keep executing and finish the half strong.

Halftime score: BG 33, NIU 19.

Dylan Frye picks up a dumb technical with 2.2 seconds left, but the "ball don't lie" and their guy missed both free throws.

Overall, a solid half of basketball. Gotta keep our foot on the gas in the 2nd half.

Good defensive showing so far. That's encouraging.

At the under 16 in the 2nd half, BG leads 39-26. Slow start to the half, but nothing major to complain about.
The officials are seemingly letting them play tonight.

At the under-12, with really only about 10 minutes left in the 2nd half, we are up 50-35. We started slow offensively, but we're heating up now. Gotta have a strong finish.

At the under-8, BG leads 52-44. They've gone on a bit of a run. We'll need to hold them off down the stretch. Come on, Falcons!

Final media timeout, we're up 57-53. The lead has been cut to as little as one, and we're hanging on for dear life. Gotta have some guys step up and play really well in these last 4 minutes.

Wiggins with a HUGE And-One with 44 seconds left... and he completes the 3 point play. We're up 7.

Turner to the line for 2 with just 31 seconds left... makes the first... makes the second.

Up 9 with under 30 seconds left.

BG wins 66-57. Good home win. Gotta keep it rolling against Akron on Saturday afternoon.

Wiggins is starting to body more. Last 2 games playing tougher.

Guards have to get back to making shots
7-24 NIU from Frye-Caldwell and Turner
Caldwell is shooting 34% from the field and is 2-19 over the last 3 games
Turner is 12-37 over the same time period.
Frye is 13-47 over the last month 27%

If we get smarter guard play and a more aggressive Wiggins I think this team can win the league. I think the talent is there. I am not familiar with the rest of the league but I think this roster can be a MAC champ. If not this year then certainly next year.

Agreed on needing guard play to be better. Also agreed on the Wiggins point. He has been much more aggressive the last 2 games.

And for those who are wondering, attendance tonight was 2,013, about 320 above our average. I'll take it, but I would still love to see it grow more as the season progresses.

I so hope you are right... Watched Buffalo at Akron last night. I know that Akron is a shadow of its former self but I think that Buffalo is the real deal. Complete domination on the offensive and defensive side of the ball. We will have our hands full when we play them this year...
