Post by Falconboy »

We need more guys stepping up! No one is doing anything besides Almonson right now! GRRRRR!!! This is going to be a long game, in more ways than one! :? It appears something from the replacement basket broke or something after another Almanson dunk. Weird! :ugh:

I would say that Floyd and Wright both stepped up big time today. Floyd had 10 assists and played pretty good defense overall. Steven Wright was outstanding this afternoon. I thought he was going to have another struggle after getting 2 fouls in the first couple minutes, but he played smart and didn't get in further foul trouble after that. He actually made some outside shots and really kept us in the game for a while.

Wright and Floyd both played very well. DD noted that Wright was responsible for the 5 point swing that took us from 13 down to trailing by 8 at the half. I can not stress the importance of getting below double digits before the half enough. It makes the hill seem so much easier to climb.

I agree Flip. I was surprised that Dakich put Steven back in the game with two fouls. But those two steal on back to back possessions helped turn the tide.
