Some solid TV on tonight. I will post about the game, whoever we happen to play and let you know if you should catch it on replay. The answer is probably not.

Ha. Globe has some spicy takes this morning.

We've got Ohio tonight at 7:00pm. We're back in the Stroh, and I'm hoping we can get this thing turned around.

OU is 9-11, including 2-6 in-conference. They beat NIU 78-68, and they won at Eastern Michigan, 72-66. They have only won once on the road, so it would really be nice that this was a home game if we had any type of home court advantage.

Get this one, Falcons. I want to believe again.

It's Antonio Daniels bobblehead night, and since we're poor they only give out 500 of 'em. And no guarantees for season ticket holders to get one either, for some reason. So I'm going to tell others that are going to the game, please arrive late. I've got a 2 year old, and he loves basketball, but we cannot expect him to sit there for 3 hours so he can get his bobblehead. I really wanna get him one to go with his Harold Anderson & Nate Thurmond bobbleheads.

As for the game, we've got OU tonight. They suck on the road, and have been pretty bad in the MAC. We must figure out how to remove our collective heads from our asses, find some semblance of defensive effort, and maybe try passing a few times on offense. This team has played so awful lately I didn't even watch a minute of Saturday's game. I hope like hell they figure out a way to start playing some decent basketball again.

I had a rare night out with the wife expecting to come back and watch the game. I saw the score and decided to not watch the game.

Rare night out with the wife. Not even going to touch that comment. You didn't miss anything except Wiggins get pulled.

With the way the team has been playing I would make some starting adjustment. The last 2 games Koch has done very well when Wiggins is on the bench. Plowden also was impressive in limited action lately. Kind of an odd lineup but this would be unique.

Cummings (if healthy, in not Caldwell)
Frye
Turner
Plowden
Koch

Then put in an entire new 5 after 1st Media Time Out
Cummings/Caldwell
Lillard
Fox
Uju/Gadson
Wiggins

Then at the under 12 timeout put starters back in, and keep rotating. Tell each until of 5 to hustle entire 4 minutes and play defense!!

Have to do something. If they aren't playing hard we can't go all Sleepy Lou. I am in on this. Sure wish we had 1-2 more scholarship players.

I keep hounding this on the other thread but please offer Ross Ryan a prefferred Walk-on. Hurt his back in the preseason but I really think he can be a solid post in the MAC.

I'm predicting that we'll win a high scoring affair. I hope I'm right, but I don't have a lot of confidence until this team shows a more consistent effort.

Got to love these student announcers that BG uses.

"So how do you feel the BG defense is performing tonight."

"Well they are doing much better tonight than the last time out."

Lol. You think. We gave up 101 points last time out.

Well, if OU comes back, it's because we just missed 3 free throws in a row. Absolutely killed out momentum.

I really liked the starting 5, set the tone early. Having Lillard and Turner together makes us much better defensively on the perimeter. And Frye seemed to hold his own at the point

10:06 left, BG is up 54-40. Not a great last few minutes. OU is creeping back.

Though you've gotta love it when the refs miss a clear travel and it leads to a 3. We should be up 17 right now, and they shouldn't have that added momentum.

Hope we can hold on. I have a feeling this gets quite close to end it.
