Rather important game tonight in Muncie.

Ball State opens as an 8 point favorite.

BG coming off a big win and Ball State coming off an embarrassing lethargic loss to Eastern.

A win tonight keeps BG near a top seed(3-5) and a loss could drop us all the way to #8.

Stop Persons and you have a chance. BG won both games last year against Ball State.

It'll be a tough one, for sure. Kenpom predicts us losing, 80-73.

Hope our defense steps up and really grinds this one out. It will take 40 minutes of high effort and intensity.

That's a scary proposition as I have yet to see this team play 40 minutes of high effort basketball all year, and I haven't missed many games.

Hell, I'm not sure I've seen them play 35 minutes of high effort basketball.

As always I plan to be watching on ESPN3. Would love to see us go into Muncie and bring home a win. Not just for the usual of always being nice to get a road win, but because it would also be our 3rd win in a row. We really need to start stringing some wins together and no reason to not start tonight.

At the Under-16, we're down 12-6. If we had Wiggins, they wouldn't be beating us. All they have to do is throw it inside and it's a guaranteed bucket. This is going to be an uphill battle.

BG getting mugged and no fouls. Yet we get called for 3 ticky tacky touch fouls.

Under-8, BG is up 23-20. I like what I'm seeing so far. Koch has 5 offensive rebounds already. We're really battling.

I said we need to hit 3s. Fox came in and hit 2 off the bench.

Gotta love when the refs miss an easy call and it directly leads to points for the other time. People say that refs can't have an impact on the outcome... I disagree.

We missed 4 layups on drives to the basket, in which one should been a foul. A Turner layup disregarded by an illegal screen and a few missed FTs. Thats 12 points that we failed to capitalize on. Can't win on the road with unforced mistakes.
