Around the MAC

Post by gmartin »

There are some good women's team this year around the MAC.

Ball State 7-0
Bowling Green 6-1
Toledo 6-1
CMU 6-1
Buffalo 5-1

The Mac already has five wins against the top 40 RPI. Some of these winds include St Bonaventure, Delaware, Quinnipac, Arizona State, Clemson, Butler, Vanderbilt and Purdue. The MAC RPI as a whole is ranked #7. The MAC as a whole has four teams in the top 70. Only one team in the conference currently has a losing record, Eastern Michigan.

The MAC is still doing very well.

Currently the MAC has 8 schools in top 100. 5 in the top 60.

Overall conference RPI is #7 out of 33. SOS is ranked #11.

This could be the year the conference receives an at large bid.

If CMU and Buffalo keep winning, they both deserve bids, regardless of what happens in the tournament.
