We piss on our traditions all the time so we can invent something "new and better"...why should donors be any different?

There is a lot of truth in this.

Absolute no brainer. TV is what it is. Slap some lipstick on that pig and make it look good for those weeknight games.

Are we going to make EVERYONE sit on the East side for the weeknight games?? Maybe tarp over the WEST side?

10,000 cardboard cutouts of people all dressed in orange should look nice on camera. Well, they would actually look like a shade of red on camera.

Moving the band from the endzone is horrible. Putting them on either side means that only the other side gets to hear them. It's dumb to not put them where they're playing to the entire stadium, especially when that was the area designated for them when it was built. Of course, if they go back to playing Sweet Caroline, then you can put them in the locker room.

Another example of the university only caring about ESPN and TV and putting a stick in the eye of the people that actually attend the games.

Seems like it would make more sense to do whatever renovations are necessary to put TV on the East side and keep everyone else where they belong. Build a retractable sun shade on the West side to stop the glare into the cameras. I see those Sunsetter Awning commercials all the time. I'm sure they must sell a football stadium sized model. No one likes staring into the sun in a late afternoon game on the East side......or dealing with the brunt of the wind late in the season.

So are they flipping the logo over?

Don't want an upside down logo on TV.... That possibly one game a year that makes it beyond an internet stream.

Wow, people love to b!tch. Sit wherever you want! There have probably been 4 sellouts since 2000, so there just might be room to sit where you want. If you want to sit on the West side, buy a damn ticket on the West side. Or, buy a ticket on the East side and go sit on the West side. If you like listening to the band, sit directly across from the band. If you have friends and want to sit near them, just find them and sit with them when you get to the game. It's really not that hard. But I guess it's easier to complain, so forget I ever posted this and continue to b!tch away.
