Only good thing about Alaska is they have to travel all the way across the country on short rest. Ferris has been on a little bit of a roll lately.

It's a 3-0 win!

Now to wait for the other games to see who the opponent is next weekend. Won't know for sure until after the Alaskas finish their game.

That's not true. AH is at 33. Alaska can get to 33. However if Ferris wins they will get 34 pts and finish 6th. Alaska game only matters if Ferris loses or gets 2 pts in shootout win.

And Ferris State will be Bowlling Green's opponent next weekend. FSU captures the #6 seed.

Right.

Assuming Ferris holds on (up by 1 late in the third) they take sixth place.

Fairbanks would tie UAH in points with a (very likely) regulation win over Anchorage and win the tiebreaker by virtue of a better record vs Mankato (5th level tiebreaker!).

If Ferris wins outright: we play Ferris.
If Ferris gets 2pts and Fairbanks wins: Ferris
/ Fairbanks tiebreaker
If Ferris gets <= 1 pt and Fairbanks wins: Fairbanks
If Ferris gets <= 1 pt and Fairbanks <= 2pts: Huntsville

Ferris wins, 4-2.

They got 2 empty netters, and then LSSU scored with 26 seconds left.

Just how big was Friday night's loss. With Western Michigan getting swept this weekend and with North Dakota tieing and NMU losing last night, BG would be #14 pairwis. We would have jumped Omaha, North Dakota, Western, NMU and we would have stayed ahead of BC. So things actually fell into place for us last night. Unfortunately we didn't do our job on Friday. We will get this done however. I see four straight wins coming up to send us to the NCAA tournament. Just wanted to point out what could have been. Where could we have been if we didn't lose last night. Where could we have been if two of our ties were wins. Now let's go out next week and kick some Bulldog butt
