But, that is not what the title of this post is in reference to. As painful as this game was to watch with all of the penalties (most of which were unquestionably BS), this is a great opportunity for Pooch to drill into these guys that the stupid penalties e commit (Matsumoto's holding comes to mind) lead to the weak calls that we consistently get. As much as Wilkins and Shegos suck, the weak calls they make against BG are no doubt motivated by the more blatant penalties we ACTUALLY commit.
Knowing Pooch and his commitment to detail, I'd say that going into the playoffs he is going to harp on this for the next two weeks. For this reason, I'm very glad we had a game like this at this time. If we had any other coach behind the bench I wouldn't feel this way, but Paluch has proven all year that he can use individual games to turn around poor areas of play. He can, and I believe will, do it this time. Actually, I've never felt this good about a loss before. Weird!

BTW, early prediction: we're getting at LEAST two points from the weasles next weekend...
