Well we all know what needs to happen tonight. BG needs to win to move on. I truly believe we will end Northern Michigan season once again. Would also love to see Tech beat Minnesota State tonight then BG will host the championship game next, and if that does happen, the university should give away free tickets to make sure we do not have one empty seat in that area.

I did some number crunching again as I love to crunch numbers. Want to know how close BG was to clinching at-large bid. If BG could have beaten Western Michigan one of those two games and one of our ties could have been a win BG would be currently number 11 pairwise. And already have clinched the NCAA tournament bid. So let's go out there and fight tonight boys. Bring this one home. Bergeron should play the speech from Herb Brooks from the 1980 Olympics. Not tonight boys not tonight. Tonight is our game. Tonight we skate. So go out there and take it.

Game is on at Downtown with a good crowd if you love in the BG area!

We almost escaped the 1st unscathed. 1-0 bad guys. Power play to start the 2nd.

:axe:

Giving up goals in the last minute of a period.

Not happy about the game being on at Downtown bar. BG has lost all 3 previous games that have been shown at Downtown over the past 6 years. Turn it off!!!

Huge PP goal to start the period by Johnson.

Let's build on this and take the lead going into the 3rd.

We need to kill off this penalty. We cannot let Northern Michigan take the lead back going into the 3rd. This could be our season right here.

McLain hits the post midway through. We played better the first half of the period. Feels like it may be sudden death the rest of the way. Hope Berge has a good speech ready to go.

I said earlier, quote Herb Brooks. Best hockey speech I've ever heard even better than the great Scotty Bowman

And NMU takes the lead with 10:00 remain.

Uh oh. Freak came in Friday after we were winning. Now he is back to redeem himself.
