He's a JUCO transfer, and he was my age (Class of 2016) so he will likely have 2 more years of eligibility.

Tough to know how good he will be against Jucos but....

Love that he has a balanced game. 8.5 rebounds tells us at the very least he is aggressive.
He is not a 3 point shooter, 11% and 25%. That's awful. 66% and 71% from the line.
Solid at maintaining the dribble and is aggressive in attacking the basket.
Video shows him shooting pretty well, not sure what's up with the terrible 3pt percentage
Looks like a decent passer as well.
Overall seems like a capable backup PG for the next two years but nothing special.

I think he is good enough to start. Fry at the two, Turner at three.

A small guard that doesn't shoot well? Where have we heard this before? Oh, two of those just left. At this point we need bodies so hopefully we have 3 more JUCO's coming.

I wouldn't necessarily call him a small guard. Caldwell was 5'10 and Cummings was 6'0, while this guy is listed at 6'1, which is the average height of a D1 point guard.

He isn't being brought in to fill up the basket. More likely, we need a distributor to run the 2nd offense. He seems to fit that mold decently well. As long as he plays some form of defense and doesn't turn the ball over, he'll be a fine addition to this team.

Confident. Great handles and feet. Jumps very well. Can get to his spots in the half court and evade defenders. Long.

Good shooting mechanics, quick release. Left handed. Will push Frye at the point. Instant rotation player. Good get. Love seeing the high rebounding totals in a guard.
