Yes I hope the judge gives this young man a third break! Reading the court doc from BG Muni Court, he is facing some serious charges. This is his second OVI charge in three months, Driving under suspended and obstructing police work. Yeah i'll say trouble unless he ask, for some mental help.
We all make mistakes in life, lets hope he makes the right choices going forward. Remember its easy to fall down, and harder to get up!! Pray for this young man.

It’s been said that this is his Second foul up w/ police. Counting the Fla. incident, isn’t this the THIRD? If so, I can’t see keeping this kid on the team. Guess I’ll never understand how a kid who’s been given a shot like he’s had totally screw up like this.

Yeah...let's just take him out back and pitch him. He's been suspended. Family, Coach and the University seem to be focused on getting him the help he needs to get his life on track. I hope he takes advantage of that opportunity

Flip, I wouldn’t normally disagree with this, and hope he does get help if needed. But I can’t help but wonder what’s driving this behavior even after the suspension. If he hasn’t learned after Two events, when will he?

That's why you offer him help. He has to want the help for it to be effective. First offense may not come with the offer of the help he actually needs. If he doesn't want or utilize the help, then it's a waste of resources and time for him to leave BG.Class of 61 wrote:Flipper wrote:Yeah...let's just take him out back and pitch him. I hear you...that young man needs to start exerting some control now. Hopefully, he has the people close to him who can guide him through that process. I think part of the tx plan with people who have substance abuse issues is to get them back to their life so they can feel normal again. If that's the case...I hope he's welcomed back if he earns itClass of 61 wrote:Flipper wrote:Yeah...let's just take him out back and pitch him. He's been suspended.
