New defensive coordinator, same awful defense. Common denominator: clueless head coach.

There are certain "tells" that almost always point to a bad head coach. One of them is undisciplined play on the field (penalties being the most common that hurt the team at the most inopportune times) and poor special teams play.

Gee, think we've seen any of those issues in the last three seasons?

As for the defense...just more of the same old, same old.

Some were saying when BG got into MAC play, we'd see them do much better -- but they are struggling to beat an FCS team (again) at home; an FCS team that will end up rushing for way more than 400 yards before this game is over.

Playing against MAC defenses won't be rescuing this season. It will remain on track as one of the worst in BGSU history.

I think the gods have intervened. My Watch ESPN connection (via Roku) blanked out with an error message telling me that too many devices were streaming the game, and I'd exceeded the maximum. Since there is only me (one device) watching, that is pretty annoying. A call to the ESPN tech support folks didn't help much, except start me on a path to waste too much time.

So, I'm done. That's probably a good thing for my blood pressure.

Knowing Jinks is going to go down in BG history (easily) having three of the worst season records in school history is anything but comforting.

Also the biggest THIEF from stealing 500k a year and the biggest FRAUD that BGSU has ever had. What a hack! I'm laughing at this moron, which is sad. I hate what he's done to BGSU Football. There is another problem here, which is Moose himself. His judge of a coach has totally come into play here. I have zero trust that moose can right this ship, especially hanging onto a moron like Jinx and giving him a big leash. Jinx can be fired with a little work on Mooses part. For you that claim otherwise is stupid.

Eku passing instead of running will be the only reason we win this

Don't worry. Their 2-minute offense is all runs. Smart!

If they get a TD they will go for two and we can't stop their run. This is the game.

If I were them I would have run on the last play of the game

Congrats on the win and good luck the rest of the season. EKU couldn't stop the next player on the field the officials. My goodness that was painful to watch them.

Most defeating home win since I have followed BGSU Football, and that's been since 1994. I can't wait for the Orange and Brown glasses people to explain this one and say how we are ok as a program. I'll laugh at you uninformed individuals like I do after every week. I can't wait to read your "If we beat Miami U banter......". Should be hilarious, as always.

Way too close. 400+ on the ground to an FCS team. EKU dominated much of the game. This was awful.
The defense was as bad as last year. It seems replacing the entire defensive staff was not good enough.
The offense had problems running the ball. Against the worst defensive line we will play all year.
The only bright spot was we found some receivers. Phoutavang came on strong.
All in all, putrid. Absolutely awful. Barring some miracle turnaround, count on three straight losing seasons. BG football deserves better.
