Georgia Tech
Re: Georgia Tech
Tech would have to turn the ball over 6 or 7 times, keeping our defense on the sidelines, for us to have a chance. Don't see this happening......GT 52- BUGS - 17

Re: Georgia Tech
Is there an official BG tailgate for this? Last game I made it to was the Tennessee game in Nashville and thought our alumni tent was awesome. We are staying at the Hyatt just under a mile away from the stadium.

Re: Georgia Tech
I believe there is an Alumni Tailgate set up. Based on the Noon start I'm thinking my group will likely have some AM beverages at the hotel before walking up to campus.
Me and 10 other Falcons will be at the Hyatt House on Marietta- walking distance to the stadium and some nice spots around Centenial Park. I'm personally looking forward to dining and imbibing at Der Biergarten, place looks great.
We're going to take our lumps on the field, but paying homage to Doyt L. Perry while checking out the College Football Hall of Fame (will be the third location my family has visited the HOF as it was previously in Kings Island, OH and South Bend, IN) and seeing the Falcons in person with great friends and family is still worth it for me.
Weather looks decent, and "cooler" than I was while attending the Jags and Titans game this past Sunday!

Re: Georgia Tech
GT only has 4 sacks on the season. So there's an opportunity for the offensive line to keep Doege standing and grow some.

The BG tailgate will be at Tech Green, a spot northwest of the stadium. Registration online:

All is for the best in this best of all possible worlds.
Re: Georgia Tech
Is it for sure going to be on STO? I know it is primarily being broadcast on RSN through the ACC Network. I can't find it anywhere online that is says it'll be on STO.jpfalcon09 wrote:Game will be broadcast on STO and Fox Sports Detroit Plus.
I'm really looking for some background noise for the noon-3 time slot on Saturday. Haha

I checked Direct TV's football schedule for this weekend and they had it listed in FSD and STO's respective markets as being on.mbenecke wrote:Is it for sure going to be on STO? Not a lot of excitement for today's game around here, and probably for good reason.
But hey, there's a reason they play the games! Ya never know what could happen in sports - that's what makes them so great.
Go Falcons!

Re: Georgia Tech
This really gets me confused ... STO shows an ACC program at 11:30, followed by BG-G TECH game at noon... BUT , at least on U verse, game WON’T be picked up!!! So I’ll have to wait and see what will happen!jpfalcon09 wrote:I checked Direct TV's football schedule for this weekend and they had it listed in FSD and STO's respective markets as being on.mbenecke wrote:Is it for sure going to be on STO? Need TDs not field goals against P5 opponents.
