Just a friendly reminder that Jinks has a bonus clause in his contract where he earns $25K for playing an opponent who plays BG $400K or more in guarantees. I've never heard of such a ridiculous thing.

That shows you just how much Kingston knew about the damage Babers had done to the program. I would have signed that contract in record time......

Are you suggesting that Kingston was desperate to make a hire because nobody would want to coach at BG? No. No. Just no.

Kingston hired Jinks in less than a week. This was not a desperation hire. This was an instant decision. Kingston knew what direction he was going in before the job opened. He said as much.

I can understand that kind of clause st Kent State where the job was open for a month. But no. Not the case here.

I am not saying no one wanted to coach here. I am saying Kingston was on his way out way before Babers left, he knew what was coming talent wise, did not care for the upper administration, and had a piss poor perception of BG and MAC football. He made the hire he made as quickly as he did because he did not care.
