No other way around it. We need to move on from Jinks.

I made a website to collect names to present to the administration of everyone ready to move on from Mike Jinks. Like a petition. save-falcon-football.com

Sign up. Make your name heard. I will make sure the administration hears from everyone. It is not just a few bug dollar donors. It is everyone who has decided that it is time to move on from Mike Jinks.

We will probably keep him and save some money. I think we will be competitive in the MAC next year. Isn't that our goal? Make lots of money with those P5 games and then look respectable in the league seems to be the new tradition.

Why would we suddenly look respectable in the MAC? I have seen zero evidence to support that. 4-8, 2-10, maybe 1-11. This guy is getting worse with his own players.

Bingo. It's time for a change.

Really, that's the point you want to make? Washington is a cesspool, no matter which party is in power. Blind allegiance to one party or another won't change that fact.

As for this topic...I can't muster the energy to even raise my voice. If the administration shows some initiative to make the needed change, maybe I'll start caring again. In the meantime, there's hockey, women's basketball and baseball (the focus of most of my support the last two years, because of very personal reasons.) Sadly, I feel about men's basketball almost the same way I do football these days.

The men's hoops team is by far my favorite program and it's almost as bad off as the football program. They look more respectable because they can load up on the equivalent of beating FCS teams ooc. Still will struggle to be .500 in league play and no threat to win the tournament. Still haven't used all of their scholarships once since huger got here, and struggling to retain talent.

Kingston effed both programs hard.

No I wasn't... I was quite skeptical. I gave him the benefit of the doubt. I was ready to move on after last year, I didn't think he should have gotten a third year but I understand why he did.

MAC football is always going to be up-and-down for most programs. We are the farm league for D-I coaches. You just have to accept that we are what we are. During our winning years, it's pretty damn fun. College Gameday in 2003, anyone? Upsets of B1G schools? Ass-whipping Missouri. There will be good times again for BG football.

I just submitted my opinion on the website. Thanks Mark for taking this initiative. I acknowledged the fact that life in the MAC means ups and downs. The Jinks situation is different. When we were down with Clawson there were positive trends. We were close. There was progress. This is stagnation. This is a program spinning its wheels and going nowhere. There is only one answer: a coaching change. Period! End of sentence! Final thought! The Mike Jinks experiment has failed. Nice man or not he has to go

There are a number of fantastic high school programs out there that would love to have Jinks has an OC.
