Transfers?

Post by Rollo83 »

I hate to think this way, but I wouldn't be surprised to see some of our young talent transfer after the season. Morris, Clair and Doege have all put together resumes that might make them attractive to other schools. You can't blame anyone for wanting to escape this mess that our program is in right now. Firing Jinks would probably give them the motivation to make a move, especially Doege if his brother gets fired with Jinks. It would be a shame because they form a pretty nice nucleolus of young talent on offense for the right system.

What a mess...

Agree. Speculative posts like this doesn't do any good.

Pretty sure the players aren't reading my post and saying, "That sounds like a good idea. Why didn't I think of that?"

You don't think players and recruits read this board? Players have posted in the past.

Unless they’re grad transfers, it’s not always a good idea to do. Sitting out a year when younger talent gets to play is a big risk, and doesn’t always lead to playing time.
Those who can't do, teach. Those who can't teach, teach PE.
