Need a little more noise in this building. Other than that what a classic big game in this arena

And OSU just tied it up 2-2. Ugh.

Headed to OT...BG showing a lot of heart and playing hard. This team is definitely legit.

A win and now a tie against Ohio State, I'll take that. And a sweep earlier against WMU. Those wins will look good in March.

A Top 10 ranking next week?

With the late lead I was about to take a picture of me with a broom sweeping some acorns off my deck.
But hey. A win and a tie against #4? Yes please.

I'll take that. Buckeyes had something 5o prove tonight and could only get a tie.

Our Pairwise ranking is now 4.

Also of note, 3 other schools from the WCHA are currently top 10 pairwise.

Check that...we're #3 in the PW behind Penn State and UMass.

The only thing watching pairwise this early will do is make you realize just how weak the WCHA is. Sure, it's fun to look and see BG up near the top, but there's been so few games played overall that it really can't be calculated yet. Only 4 teams in the league currently have winning records in non-conference games, and they have quite a few yet to play.

The teams faced so far, while respectable, aren't exactly upper echelon quality (yet). OSU was grossly overrated in the polls. Not saying they won't turn their season around, but right now they aren't much more than average. RMU and Mercyhurst are a combined 3-8-2. Western is 3-3, and OSU is 3-2-1 with 2 wins against Arizona State.

They absolutely are in a better spot than the past few years. But it's still going to take a heck of a run to earn an at large bid. All this means is a loss in the playoffs doesn't automatically end the season.

Yeah too soon to get excited about PW but wins against Nacho and Big Ten programs will help BG out in a big way come March. Have to beat the teams you should beat now in conference and at least earn a split against Minnesota State.

Exactly. Except, I don't expect Minnesota State to be the toughest opponent in the league. They do well out of conference, so definitely need good results against them.
