Ditto, it appears we found a running game in the 2nd half and a defense.

Nice fake. I feel like Carl Pelini knows this gig isn't going to last, so he's having fun now. Fake FG to ice the game? Why not

Falcons win, 24-13! 2nd half shutout, least points given up since Kent State in 2016.

Something to build on. Akron isn't unbeatable. Let's get another one next weekend.

Latest as I checked, BG up 24-13 with 2 min. Left in game. Sounds like somebody made some BIG adjustments. Don’t how many of you get the CLE PD but their “ expert” said he picks ANYONE who plays BG to win. Sad to think that’s how far our reputation has fallen.
But glad to see a win.. any win should help the kids feel better.

The last time I can think of we saw actual second half adjustments was 2015 vs Western Michigan.
Great second half. Effort, adjustments, and execution. Good win. We are officially not the worst team in the conference. And that was the first win vs a MAC west team since the 2015 MAC championship game.

Very happy for Scott Miller and the other seniors brought to BG by a former coach. They deserved better but represented and hung in there!

Win feels good regardless of how the season has gone. Defense was outstanding all game.

Yes !!! Much more fun to watch. Wonder what was said at halftime.
CMU did help with some bad execution but I'll take it.

Really like our athletic and smart RBs, I want them in BG. OL looked intent on winning and the defense kept going after the ball.

I listened on the radio...followed on live stats while at the BG/KSU Vball match. I don't care who we played, a win feels so good after the s**t we've endured. And we are going to beat Akron as well. I've seen them 3X this season in person and they are no better than us....Seriously.

In addition to loving the win, I was also really encouraged by how many players were posting on twitter about how much they love being a part of the BG family, and how they wouldn't want to be anywhere else. I think the coaching change (specifically with it being mid-year) has brought the team much closer together.
