BG v NC CU

Post by Globetrotter »

What is this college?

They are 0-2

Why are we playing on a Thursday night? We never did that last year.

I almost didn't do this

Randy Miller 15.5 ppg 602 JR
Rassean Davis 11ppg 8rpg 6-8 SR
Zacarry Douglas 9.5ppg 8.5rpg 6-8 SR
Jordan Perkins 4.5apg 6-0 SO

Looks like Wiggins is in for a battle. I will be watching it on the rewind.....if you know what I mean.

Pretty good first half. Best half of basketball Wiggins had played all year. Turner was on fire to start out. Good contributions from uju as well.

Won by 15 against a tourney team from last year. Really closed hard after struggling in the middle of the 2nd half.

Happy to be 2-0 at home. On to the next one.

16:6 assists to turnover ratio. Huge improvement.

Frye didn't shoot as well as he has and only scored 8 points but it was his best night at playing like a PG. Very nice to see.

We really need to figure out how to avoid these long stretches where we look inept on offense. We let them back in the game when we had control easily. Cruised to the end at least.

Wiggins was great. Uju had his best game as a falcon as well.

Still no contributions from our bench; really disappointed that only Laster appears to do anything of all the newcomers. Sierra and mattos played but didn't do much.

Good to win one wire to wire.

Wiggins absolutely was great. 10/11 from the field for 22 points and 13 rebounds. Looked really aggressive and has really gotten better about staying out of foul trouble.

Uju also looked really good. Besides his awful wide open lay up that just sat on the rim, he was lights out. He's really efficient shooting the ball.

Dylan struggled shooting at times, but it was good to see him making good passes and taking care of the basketball. he had 8 assists tonight.

I still think Lillard needs to drive more. Shooting isn't his game, but driving and slashing is where he seems to thrive.

Justin Turner is still looking like a star, to me. 20 points tonight on 8/15 from the field is a solid night.

Good: We took care of the basketball and limited turnovers.

Bad: We only shot 64% from the line. Gotta get that number up.

Watching the game. Like what I see.

Wiggins looks tougher.
Uju looks like a decent compliment. He made a three!?! I don't know how you do the Uju that you do......You make me want to shoop.
He really does a good job of playing smart. Glueju.
I like Horace Grant PF system. I think you adjust per the team your'e playing.
I am surprised that both Matiss and Plowden are not seeing more minutes.
Uju has a old man at the rec game, and it's working.
Uju almost looks like he isn't confident in his knee/leg. Was there a recent injury?

We can win a lot of games with Turner-Frye and Wiggins. If they play like they did today and are aggressive. Wow. Big things.
