Looks like Turner had a huge day and we won by 10. Good stuff.

No way I'm missing Baker Mayfield to go watch us play Drexel. Wish they'd stop scheduling those NFL Sunday day games, but I get it with students just coming back today.

Nice Win. Team had some energy.

Didn't watch but saw the score. Happy we could get the W and looking forward to them getting after it again on Saturday at Hartford. Gotta keep winning.

Me either. I love how this Browns team has evolved over the season, now that the Hue-Haley junior high school girls slapfight is over.

No s**t, right? I mean Gregg Williams is far from elite as a HC. But at least he is organized and aggressive and a competent leader. And Kitchens gives you an OC trying to score points rather than undermine his HC and angling for the OC job. I was so happy that they got rid of both together since they were both clearly incompetent.

Williams is good at doing what Hue didn't - staying the hell out of the way.

Not a browns page.

I fully expect that Baker Mayfield doesn't see his option year. He's nuts.

Nuts? Don't think so but don't care. He's effing good at QB. Among the best rookie QBs I've ever seen. He'll be beating that division's asses for years beyond his option.

Seriously, this. Why does Globe think he's nuts? Because he has taken Hue to the woodshed publicly? If so, that's nothing. Hue was an incompetent, backstabbling, lying scumbag as a coach. And he is arguably the worst coach in NFL history. When he was canned, he went on a media tour to throw everyone else, including all of the players, under the bus -- saying it wasn't his fault the team was bad. He's garbage and he's being thrown out.

Back on topic....I am glad to see BG hoops having some success. Now let's see if they can avoid those bumps that derailed them the last couple years. I don't expect Huger to suddenly turn into a great coach, but it would be nice to see some semblance of a real basketball team on the court.

A normal person just acts like a professional and moves on. He’s at least a jerk and probably much worse. And he’s not all that great of a qb. He’s much better than what the Browns have had. That’s not saying much.

There were about 7-10 students sitting in their area......and the lucky winner of the 50/50 took home a grand total of 95 dollars

Baker's comments in the presser were perfect. Hue was a slimeball and the players saw through it. Baker's comments are as much to help his team rally around him as anything else. Beyond that what most in the media have missed is that Baker never said he shouldn't take the job. Baker was talking about him taking that job then trying to act all buddy buddy. Don't go to our rival then act like we're best friends, we never were. I've got zero problems whatsoever with what he said. The only people that DO have issues with it are those that didn't live through 40 games of Hue Jackson as head coach. As for whether or not he's a jerk, I guess it depends on your definition. Literally everybody I've ever heard that played with him has acted/said like he's the best teammate they've ever had and would run through a wall for him. He may be a jerk to the competition, but his guys love him.

I do wish he'd give up responding to his critics on social media. I know that's him, and it's part of him, but it's just a battle you cannot really win. He's got a lot of Michael Jordan in him though. He looks for any sign of disrespect and uses that to fuel him. Right now there's a ton of it, but if he keeps playing well it'll be harder and harder to find that sort of motivational fuel.

As for on the field, we'll see, but I think you're beyond wrong. At Oklahoma he became the statistically greatest passing QB in college football history. He's currently putting together one of the greatest rookie seasons from a pocket passer in NFL history. With 5 games to go he has a shot of breaking the rookie TD record, but has some tougher defenses coming up so unlikely. Sure, he could plateau. Sure he could fall off. But as of right now Browns fans have every reason to be excited.

As for BG hoops, I"m a little bummed to have missed the game. Glad we got a win. I think our next home game is on the 8th which apparently is national Christmas Party day as I've got 3 different parties for that day already. So I'll probably miss that one as well.

Browns blinders. It happens with every new QB. From the outside I can tell you his skill set is around Andy Dalton level and his mentality will fracture locker rooms. He may grow up and be and be an average QB. Everyone has worked around a guy like this and no one wants to.
