Props to BG Sports Marketing Department

Post by ZuluWarrior »

This is a sincere compliment.
Great campaign to influence the Falcon Nation to like and get excited about Coach Loeffler. Pulling out all the stops. Just waiting for a quote from his mom about how lucky we are to have him and what a nice young man he is!

We'd be stupid to not highlight those comments from coaching legends
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

I liked having a podcast with coach and Todd Walker the next day. That was a good move. I was hungry to know more about the guy, and that helped.

Agreed.

And not sure if serious or sarcasm but when you hire a coach with ties to so many big football names you'd have to be incompetent to not highlight it.

Doesn't matter one iota as to whether or not he'll be a good coach but if I'm a hs QB you can bet your ass my ears perked up when I hear Tom Brady comment on BG's coach.

I'm guessing most of these things were done by the athletic communications department, headed by Jason Knavel (the guy who spoke at the beginning of the press conference). Not saying the marketing people DIDN'T do anything, just saying these types of things are normally done by the SIDs.

From what I could tell, Mallory Hiser was the one who created the graphics. She always does such a good job of that.
