I remember that. A defenseman missed a pass from down low. Ryan V. said it was in 2014 (Jan. or Feb., I forget which).pdt1081 wrote:Puck in your own net with goalie pulled? Happened just a couple years ago to BG in BG.TalonsUpPuckDown wrote:Wow. I’ve never seen that in my life. 1-1.

Ends in a 2-1 BG win. The last 2 minutes showed a lot about the low score. BG has multiple changes at the empty net and kept shooting wide or shots were blocked.

The last time I remember it happening was in the 2014 playoffs at home against Michigan Tech.BG84 wrote:I remember that. A defenseman missed a pass from down low. It happened in the first game I ever attended, against LSSU on January 25, 2014. We ended up winning 6-2, so it didn't really matter, but that memory has always stuck with me.
It happened just 2:10 into the first period, according to the recap from that game.

Re: @ UAH (12/1-12/2)
This is why Jerry York didn't pull the goalie during a delayed penalty. It was funny to watch a novice BG goalie start to skate to the bench only to be shooed back to his goal.
All is for the best in this best of all possible worlds.
Re: @ UAH (12/1-12/2)
It happened one time when York was the coach here. From that point on he refused to pull the goalie when there was a pending penalty against the other team.
