Everyone said jinks was a super nice guy. Would definitely be an improvement over the jackass they just fired.

Jackass? The man went on Facebook to complain about being asked to leave the funeral of a recent Bedford graduate...going so far as to s**t talk the kid and his family. Jackass doesn't begin to describe it...

He was also specifically asked not to come to the funeral beforehand and went anyways.

Wow. This is an unbelievable staff from both a coaching and recruiting standpoint.

Offensive coordinator at Michigan, Offensive Coordinator at Purdue, Receivers coach at Michigan, Receivers coach at Iowa, TE Coach New Orleans Saints, Defensive Coordinator at Georgia, Defensive Coordinator Atlanta Falcons, Defensive Coordinator at Nebraska, GA from the offensive staff at Ohio State, Toledo's best recruiter from the Amstutz days, Strength coach at Michigan...

I think we're in pretty good shape.

I bet the players will respond well to the new coaching staff. There are experienced guys who have seen about every scenario possible and have coached about every type of personality possible. Experience matters. It absolutely does.

Kirby Smart called Coach Van Gorder to ask him to be a consultant for the Georgia defense in 2016 after leaving Notre Dame. Kirby Smart the current head coach of Georgia. Kirby Smart the former DC at Alabama.

How many morons on reddit have had Kirby Smart call them asking for their opinions on defensive football?

Great article on new QB coach max Warner.

"He's the next Bill Walsh, he's an offensive genius, that's for sure," McCray said. "His football IQ's off the charts, he's a very intelligent, football-minded coach. He's a great quarterback coach, he's great at developing young kids. You'll be hearing a lot about Max Warner in the next 10 years, I can tell you that much."

Mike Jinks will be the RB coach at USC.

Probably a good move for him. New challenge in recruiting a new area, plus familiarity with an OC he knows and a position he has coached. Fewer responsibilities. Opportunity to reset and be out of the spotlight. And nice to offset our need to pay the full buyout.

That means that BG is now on the hook only for the difference in salary doesn't it?

I would hope he is making more in So Cal than he was here, or he will be living in an efficiency apartment!

Seems so. I just hope it applies to any coaching position and not he had to get a head coach position.
