They passed the puck well tonight and that is the absolute key as they really do not have the talented snipers it takes to score on a consistent basis. Going into last nights game we had scored 16 goals less than Lake Superior, and it’s hard to win defensively night in and night out.

Was really disappointed with Craggs hit last night as it continued to show the undisciplined nature of this Falcon team. I wouldn’t be upset if he and his brother were kicked off the team, I’m tired of seeing them take unnecessary majors that wear us down and cost us with suspensions and being a skate short for the misconduct
Difference between Saturday and Friday is pucks were actually hitting the net on Saturday. Most of the shot attempts Friday night went just wide. Saturday they were on target.

The reason for the review of penalties is to determine if a game misconduct is warranted. The one replay I saw of Craggs hit, it wasn't. Not sure what they were looking at when Meier took the elbow to the bank of the head to not even call it a major. It was a blatant hit to the back of the head. "Contact to the head" is an automatic 5 minute major.

The game misconduct calls have been very inconsistent all year. Sam Craggs hit on Friday, in my opinion, should have been a game misconduct...but it wasn't even called a penalty. Just coincidental minors from the pushing and shoving after the bad hit.

The guy that got hit got scared and turned towards the boards and put his head down. It would have been better had he just taken the hit. Whoever is in charge of replays in the arena is a frigging idiot for showing that angle over and over.

And a lot of other penalties they take are because an opposing player moves at the last second and puts them in a no-win situation out of fear. Lots of opponents are afraid of getting checked by them because they know it's a clean hit that's going to hurt. His hits are a little like Kronwall - hard and vicious, but clean. Wishing for them to be off the team is baffling, to me. They're among our best players, and I'm happy to have them on our side.

Now to beat Tech twice next weekend. It's playoff time.
I'm ready for him to move on. The message isn't getting through. His penalty was right in front of me and well deserved. Despite all his skill and effort you can't count on him to make it through a game and not leave you in a 5 minute hole, and now he's not available Friday.

If guys weren't ducking in fear of a hard (clean) hit, he wouldn't be hitting them from behind or up high.

If the hit is from behind how do they know to duck?

For better or worse he has the appearance of a dirty player with the officials. The onus is now on him to adjust his game accordingly. Let’s not pretend that losing him wouldn’t be a substantial loss either. He’s been BG’s best player for most of the season.

I think a few other guys would be in the conversation for that. And having a best player that can't stay on the ice isn't always super helpful.

I'd rather have Craggs in our lineup than developing in someone's farm system. That much I know.

Are we 100% positive he is only suspended for one game this weekend? I heard from a source that was told directly by the man himself that he's out 2 games this weekend, though that may have just been an assumption on his part immediately after the game, without getting filled in by the coaching staff on how they will proceed.
