Vote for the Angry Chicken!

Post by MarkL »

The athletic department is doing a fun March Madness style tournament for best helmet in BG history.

Vote however you choose, so long as you vote for the Angry Chicken!

I really hope we see the "LT" logo against Toledo. That's the logo we should ALWAYS use.

I like our current logo, but the 1981-2003 helmet would be great to pull out again for this special occasion.

I could have phrased that better. Haha.

I'm a huge fan of the current logo, too. Just for me, if our current one is a 10/10, the LT was a 15/10.

It's just legendary. That was the logo when I was a kid, and it was in place when I was introduced to BG athletics as a whole. I just love it a ton, I can't really explain it any more than that.

I don't love the current logo, although I'm glad they gravitated towards the "peek-a-boo" version of all the logos they unveiled back then. It is, and has always been, by far my favorite of that logo/font release.

Still the "LT" logo is by far my favorite, and that 1981-2003 helmet is by FAR my favorite of all those in this bracket.

I like the 1961 and 1980. I like the retro looking logos.

I went to my first football game in 1978, a win against Kent, when I was about 10 and remember thinking......so our mascot is Foghorn Leghorn?

That logo was bad......the LT logo will always be it for me. Loved when it was on the shoulders of the hockey jerseys.
